Makes 12–15 pieces
Ingredients:
- 200g / 7oz dark chocolate (85%+), roughly chopped
- ⅓ cup / 40g pistachios, roughly chopped
- 4–5 dried figs, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs (optional)
- ½ tsp flaky sea salt
Method:
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water, stirring occasionally until completely smooth. Remove from heat.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto a lined baking tray and spread into an even layer approximately 5mm thick using a spatula.
- Working quickly before the chocolate begins to set, scatter the pistachios, fig slices, and cacao nibs evenly across the surface. Finish with a generous pinch of flaky sea salt.
- Transfer to the fridge and leave to set for at least 30 minutes until completely firm. Once set, break into irregular pieces.
Storage: Keeps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Break into pieces before freezing for easy grab-and-go portions.
