Part 1: This message from Janice surprised me

I’ve been getting messages from women in our community.

That’s not unusual. I hear from you all the time, and honestly, it’s one of my favourite parts of what we do. 

But a few of these messages made me stop and look a little closer.

Because they were all describing the same kind of change. And it wasn’t one I was expecting. 

Let me share them with you so you can see what I mean:

Karon wrote and said: “I've lost 12 pounds already and feel healthier than I have in a long time.

Janice said: “Bloating is way down and I'm losing weight without even trying.

Dawn: “I’ve shaved off those last few pounds that were lingering.

What surprised me is that Karon, Janice, Dawn, and other women like them weren’t writing to tell me about a new diet or exercise programme.

They were getting these results from something I honestly never would have expected to have much to do with weight loss.

Well, that sparked my curiosity. 

Because it didn’t fit the neat little boxes I had learned to put weight, digestion, and gut health into.

And once that question was in my head, I couldn’t leave it alone. I had to understand what was going on.

So I pored over the latest research… as well as a few fascinating older studies I hadn’t seen talked about nearly enough.

I was looking for data that could help explain the weight loss results many women in our community were experiencing.

And the more I read, the more I realised there was a missing piece here. 

One that could help explain why two people can eat similar foods, take similar supplements, and still have very different weight loss results.

I’m going to share what I found over the next few days.

Now, I don’t know if weight loss is one of your health goals right now. 

For me, after having my first baby last year, it is something I’ve been thinking about in a much more personal way.
