Never Stop Learning.

“Those people who develop the ability to continuously acquire new and better forms of knowledge that they can apply to their work and to their lives will be the movers and shakers in our society for the indefinite future.” Brian Tracy

The question I would like to ask you is very simple.

When did you stop learning?

Of course we learn something every day.

Like how we learn so much from broadcast media…

We learn about celebrities.

Which sporting team won.

What the weather is doing.

Which character died in our favourite TV series.

Where to shop for our next TV.

I’ll ask you the question again, when did you stop learning?

Tell me how much time you spend on investing into your own self development and I’ll easily predict how successful you’ll be.

The foundation to your capacity to influence and bring value is directly proportionate to your capacity to learn.

I don’t know what IQ score they gave you.

Or what your teachers said on your report card.

It matters little.

What matters is your own commitment to grow.

Perhaps you need to turn off the TV.

Or switch off the radio.

Replace it with something that will grow you.

Stretch and mould you into the person you want to be.

A law of life is that you’ll become like what you behold.

Like how we are what we eat, you’ll become what you…

Watch.

Study.

Listen to.

When we get an opportunity to meet each other… maybe some day.

I’ll ask you, look you in the eye, “when did you stop learning?”

You’ll tell me you never did.

You chose to become the person worthy of success.

You chose to learn, instead of consume.

To lead instead of follow.
