Make the Change.
“Your life doesn’t get better by chance. It gets better by change.” Jim Rohn
So many people want a better life.
So many people wish for a better life.
So many people even pray for a better life.
But so few people make the changes to experience a better life.
You see a high percentage of people hate their job or current circumstance.
This is actually a major cause of chronic disease and and lowering on ones life span.
The stress of being unhappy is killing you.
Can I explain it any simpler?
The problem lies in the daily choice.
Its easier to sometimes, just keep going.
Get up, get ready, go to work, come home, cook some dinner and go to sleep.
Escape from prison x2.
And so on…
It is so easy to get into this cycle, and for that inner entrepreneur to be silenced by the consistent noise of the grind.
If you continue to repeat this process, I can take you on a little time travel adventure into the future if you would like?
Fast forward to your last day at work, many years into the future.
You shake everyones hands, say your good-byes and walk out to your car.
Sitting in your car you reflect on the life that you’ve lived.
A sickening feeling comes over you.
You’re all too familiar with this feeling.
You’ve known it for decades.
That feeling that you really haven’t lived the life that you wanted to live.
The realisation that you are far from your idealised self.
You haven’t become the person you dreamed of being.
Your retirement fund isn’t big enough to do everything you want to do with it.
You’re too old and have given your best energies to… the grind.
That conservative little life you chose, the safe path, has now come at the ultimate price.
You were the ransom. You were the downpayment. Its cost you… your life.
How does it feel?
Now… wake up.
The year is 2014. This is your year to make changes. Dramatic changes if need be. Do not let this future I described be yours.
It can’t, I won’t let it.
Do what you need to do. Switch it out. Pay the price. Learn to embrace the insecurity of this journey.
Its all worth it.
Trust me, I’ve done it myself.
Make the change.
Become who you were called to be.
