It’s interesting when you realise that even the president of the USA has the same amount of time as you, yet he leads a country.

So why are people successful and others are not if we all have the same amount of time?

Well our old friend Zig has made this very simple for us all to understand.

The key is direction.

Direction my friend, is key.

To illustrate something powerful, I want to ask you something very simple…

Have you ever been lost?

I remember being capsized in a boat offshore once.

Terrifying.

You see when we are in survival situations, our lack of direction is a crippling fear.

For some reason however, when we lack direction in life, we don’t mind as much.

As it is not activating our highly evolved survival instincts, we become ambivalent to the need of any major sense of direction in life.

People just float their way through life.

Perhaps wanting to be successful, yet never really taking the necessary direction to do so.

Our fear of this should be equally matched with being lost at sea.

We are somehow content at wasting our life and not becoming the person we are called to be?

We get one shot at life.

One shot.

And we chose to waste it as we are never sure where we are doing?

You will accomplish exponentially more in life if you simply have some form of vision as to where you are going.

I guess the last question could be… How do I know if I am following the correct directions in life?

Here are some sample reflective questions you could ask yourself.

1) Am I happy with my life?

2) Am I passionate about the way I spend my time?

3) When was the last time I was really fulfilled?

4) Do I dream about the endless possibilities in life?

5) Would I do what I do for free?

Taking action on them can be very very potentially painful.

Although this process can be heart wrenching…

It is the most worthwhile journey you will ever take.

Every step along it’s path is sacred.

Every path you take is significant.

All of it surmounting to your ultimate destiny.
