“I failed in some subjects in exam, but my friend passed in all. Now he is an engineer in Microsoft and I am the owner of Microsoft.” Bill Gates
How do you deal with failure?
It’s an extrodinarily important question for your future success.
You see the system we grow up in doesn’t really prepare us well for failure.
Like in the picture above, school trains us to always be right an avoid failure.
That’s because school trains us to follow orders and work for other people.
To fit in. Regurgitate information. Don’t be wrong.
If you fail, you’re a loser.
But was it always like this?
It’s funny that children have been shown to have little to no care for failure, it’s how they learn.
School then comes along and changes that.
It pounds it into you that if you’re good at following orders, you’ll end up with a good job.
Nothing wrong with that, if you want to make someone else rich of course.
But I propose something counter-cultural today.
Sit with it.
Learn that it’s not so scary after all.
It’s actually harmless.
Now you’re ready.
You’re ready to become what you’ve been called to be.
Because the road to your future success is paved with your future failures.
