Don't Be Normal.
"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different."
This is my theory.
We are born into this world totally unique.
Growing up as children we are unafraid of being whoever we feel like. Whatever we can dream of or chase after.
School then enters our world.
We are trained to fit within a certain standard.
You can never be wrong.
Don’t go outside the boundaries or you’ll punished.
Do you know what this creates?
Mindless factory workers.
Workers that will fit any mould.
From labouring to medicine.
We are trained to work for someone else.
The problem with factory workers is pretty simple.
We fit into the machine of capitalism at the expense of our lives (read this again before continuing). Factory work is tiring, whether you clean toilets or you are a lawyer working in a prestigious law firm.
To get anywhere you’ll have to step out of the safety of the system.
You’ll have to be different.
Friends, you life was never intended to be predictable and normal.
You were not meant to know that you’ll be working for most of your life.
Paying off a large car and house debt.
Your life was meant to have more than 3 weeks vacation time each year.
I don’t call it vacation, I call it leave…
Like assigned leave at a prison.
If you’ve read up to this point you are probably like me.
The thought of this makes you cringe. There is something else inside of you that knows that a small percentage of the world does not live this way.
You are right.
Do you want to know their secret?
They are anything but normal.
Far from it. They chose to be different. They chose to do life on their own terms.
So can you.
It’s time for you to restart the childish dream that was stolen from you.
For you to rise up and just be…
The world needs it.
You need it the most.
It’s going to the be launching pad of your dreams.
You’ll retire early because you’ll be paid for your passion.
Share this with someone that needs to hear this today, somebody you want to encourage to be themselves – because the world wouldn’t have it’s colour without them in it!
