Anything is Possible.
"Act as if it was impossible to fail."
I wonder how much you would accomplish in life if we simply thought it was impossible to fail?
What career would you have started?
What adventures would have you embarked on?
What business would be here today?
Who would have you asked out?
How fit would you be?
What would your personal network look like?
There are some many questions that go around my head regarding this paradigm.
The ‘glass half-empty’ crowd would be thinking that this form of thinking is ultimately flawed.
I see where they are coming from.
I get it.
There are impossibilities that we are all aware of.
The twist is however that ‘glass half-empty’ crowd tend to be the ones that do nothing with their lives.
They are great advisors and analysts.
Even worse innovators.
The people that actually go out and accomplish something with their life are the ones that think that everything is actually possible.
They tend to be the ones that take us all forward.
We see what they accomplish and are awe-struck by their ‘genius’.
Their insatiable drive to push boundaries is lauded by the media as ’special’.
Something tragic then happens.
We distance ourselves from them.
They are elevated to the top echelons of society.
Too lofty for us ever to match their success or status.
We forget this basic premise.
It was their mindset that led them to their success.
They simply believed it was impossible to fail.
Nothing would stop them, when the rest of us would have ‘tapped out’ at the first stage of difficulty.
They simply kept on going.
Friends, there is nothing genius or special about that.
All of have the same capacity.
Not all of us have the same mindset.
Does it take a genius to work out the common denominator here?
I won’t insult your intelligence by connecting the obvious.
I’ll just end with a simple appeal to all the people that bother to read this far.
Convince yourself that anything is possible.
Congratulations to you.
The world is literally your oyster.
